HTML Editor: Page-Internal Links

Note: This tool is not available in text areas with reduced HTML editor options.

A page-internal link goes from one section of a page to a different section of the same page. To create this kind of link in the HTML editor, you must first create an "anchor," then create a link to that anchor.

Create an Anchor

  1. Place your cursor at the target of the link. For instance, if you are creating a "Top of Page" link, then you should place your cursor at the top of the page.
  2. Click the down arrow next to the Insert/Edit Web Link button to access the Link Menu.

Note: If you do not see a down arrow, then you may be using a reduced HTML editor.

  3. Select Anchor.
